My investigation into this subject has only just begun. The size and construction material of bell chambers has long been know to have a significant effect on the sound of a peal of bells. The need to investigate this area became apparent in attempts to simulate bell sounds, where resonance needed to be added to produce better (more lifelike) results. Results of investigations will be published here when more work has been done.
